Description Tour:

This long and rewarding journey going beyond our boudaries getting at La Paz in the brother country of Bolivia, has a particular feature which stresses on the idyosincrasy, crafts and peculiar beliefs from those peoples that are inheritors from a rich cosmovision which refuses to die despite the fact of the technological advancement and globalization.

Day 02: Lima - City (B)

• Breakfast.
• Early in the morning, city tour through the viceroyal and contemporary Lima. This tour comprises the most representative colonial and modem art. The Spaniard-stylish centre includes the most imposing catholic churches and mansions like the Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace), located in the majestic Plaza de Armas (main square). Other good examples on this architecture are the Alcaldìa (City Hall) and the huge Cathedral, including the fascinating San Francisco Church. The tour concludes visiting the exclusive town of San Isidro, where it is located the pre-Inca pyramid of Huaca Huallamarca, getting along to Miraflores, located beside the Pacific coast.

Day 03: Lima / Cuzco

• Breakfast and at due time transport to the airport heading for Cuzco.
• After arriving welcoming and transport to your hotel.
• Free morning for climatizing.
• In the afternoon, you’ll visit the City with its beautiful Plaza de Armas (Main Square) which is rounded by majestic constructions such as the huge cathedral and the sublime Company of Jesus church. Next very close from the main square you`ll know the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) which during the Spanish dominion was used as the base for the construction of a church named Santo Domingo. A little farther to the surroundings you`ll admire archaeological sites such as the Sacsayhuaman fortress, Kenko, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay.

Day 04: Cuzco / Sacred Valley of the Incas / Cuzco (B-L)

• Early in the morning you`ll have a revitalizing and delicious breakfast.
• You`ll set off in the morning at due time towards the splendid and inspiring Inca’s Sacred Valley where is located the old and picturesque Pisac village, where the skillful artcraft of the local people is underscored in the Indian market which is plenty of motley pottery, jewelry of inca motive and hand-made colourful clothes weaved with the alpaca skin, a very highly appreciated product. You'll also have the chance of visiting the old and traditional bakery, where a typical and rich bread named Guaguas are prepared in the old fashioned and huge oven.
• After lunching in a peculiar restaurant of this valley, you’ll get along with this tour visiting the little and enchanting Ollantaytambo town where is located the archaeological complex which comprises an imposing rocky fortress safely guarded by stylish watchtowers erected in the outskirts of the surrounding mountains.
• Returning to Cusco.

Day 05: Cuzco / Machu Picchu (B)

• Breakfast.
• Early in the morning, transport to the train station.
• 3 ½ hour train ride to the Aguas Calientes town for aboarding the bus heading for the old Machu Picchu citadel, the “lost city of the Incas”.
• Guided tour through these amazing ruins.

Day 07: Cuzco / Puno (B-L)

• On arriving to Puno, transfer to your hotel.

Day 08: Puno (B)

• Breakfast early in the morning.
• Excursion to the amazing Uros Floating Island artificially built on the Titicaca waters.
• In the afternoon, excursion to the archaeological site Sillustani famous for its greatly peculiar tombs named chullpas.
• Returning to Puno.
• Accommodation.

Day 09: Puno / Sun Island / La Paz (B-L)

• Breakfast.
• Whole day excursion to the Island of the Sun. Lunch included.
• Arrival to La Paz.

Day 10: La Paz (B)
