Availability: AUGUST SEPTEMBER,OCTOBER,NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2012 Bookings will only be guaranteed by the governmental institutions when providing full names, and passport numbers of nationalities passengers, and when having paid the full amount of passengers and staff (cook and team of porters) entrance fees. THEREFORE: All Trek Tour Operator will guarantee the spaces booked provided: The booking has been first confirmed by our Reservation Department by e-mail, this meaning that spaces are available on the Inca Trail for the requested date at the moment of the booking. The full passenger data have been provided and the required deposit has been paid for. Since the Inca Trail has a maximum allowance of 500 people per day (including passengers and agency staff), we strongly recommend to make your bookings as much in advance as possible to make sure you will find spaces on the desired departure date. We are already receiving bookings for departures scheduled as far as one year prior to the trek departure date, so if you wish to travel with us to the Inca Trail, please make sure to confirm your booking as soon as possible. Payment details: We will require a non-refundable trek deposit of US$150 per person payable within two days of All Trek tour operator confirming your trek booking. Avoid disappointment - book your Inca Trail holiday in time Over the last few years, the Peruvian government has imposed increasing restrictions on tourism on the Inca Trail in order to protect it from overuse. The aim is to minimize ecological impact and erosion, mainly by having limited access and improving the quality of the operators. There are now only a very limited number of trekking permits available - 500 per day - and they are being issued on a first-come-first-served basis. In order to avoid disappointment we recommend booking well in advance (up to a minimum of 4 months in peak season), unless you are extremely flexible over your travel dates Notes: 1. Your arrival date in Cusco must be at least 2 days prior to trek departure since you have to pay the trek balance before 8pm 2 days before you start the trek. Arriving 2 days prior to the trek also ensures that you are better acclimatized to the high altitude. However 3 days is recommended. 2. A free airport to hotel transfer is provided for groups of 2 persons or more. A single supplement of US$5 will be charged for single travelers. Obviously if you want an airport to hotel transfer we will require your flight arrival details: Airline, flight number, expected arrival time and date. (to be confirmed at least 5 days in advance).
3. In order to qualify for a student discount you must be under the age of 26 and be in possession of a valid international student identity card ISIC. You must bring the ISIC card to the office when you pay the trek balance and take it with you on the Inca Trail Trek as it will be checked several times by government officials. Unfortunately no other forms of student identity are acceptable (university cards, international youth cards etc). If you forget your ISIC card or lose it then you will have to pay an additional US$73 for a standard trek permit. The government has recently become more fastidious with respect to lost ISIC cards and on several occasions has not given permission to the person to enter the Inca Trail
4. If you have a hotel reservation in Cusco please include the name of your hotel on the reservation form. This allows us to locate you if there are any problems with your arrival. You will also be asked to confirm your hotel in Cusco when you come to the office to pay the trek balance.
We will confirm your trek reservation by email within a couple of days. We will require a trek deposit of US$120 per person paid in advance. The date by which the trek deposit has to be paid and details of how to pay the trek deposit will be included in the trek confirmation email. All Trek Tour Operator Cancellation Policy 1. The trek deposit must be paid prior to the date shown on the trek confirmation email. Clients must email All Trek Cusco to confirm that they have paid the deposit. Failure to pay the deposit and/or inform us of the deposit payment details before this date will result in automatic trek cancellation.
2. The trek balance must be paid in the All Trek office prior to 8:pm at least 2 days prior to trek departure. Failure to pay the trek balance prior to this time will result in trek cancellation.
3. Trek cancellations made between payment of trek deposit and 8pm 2 days prior to trek departure date: Return of all payments made, less the trek deposit of US$120 per person, less any costs associated with receiving and returning the payment.
In all instances of trek cancellation by the client All Trek will provide written confirmation of the cancellation and details of any payments lost so as to be used in the event of any insurance claim made by the client.
